Relax. If it really doesn’t matter; and the point is to learn from the illusion simply relax. Look at your part and use your tools to change you.
The rest will take care of itself.
Will you see through the illusion today?
I constantly have to remind myself that life really is an illusion. Nothing really matters but your heart-reaction. Do you return to love? Do you return to noticing that they simply have a different point of view than you? Do you allow yourself to expand to accepting that they have a different Point of View?

The worst thing you can do is let other people, places or things close your heart. When you find yourself in the midst of tension, fear, anxiety over people, places and things stop and breathe into your heart.
It’s the safest place for us to be. First of all, we won’t speak from a place of negativity. Second, Breathe again---keep breathing until you can see clearly that THEY are trying to push YOUR buttons. It really is their insecurities etc. that is at issue. Yes, you might have made THE mistake; but, their over-reaction is about their fear and re-stimulation. When you see with an open heart it is easier to walk away with clarity and learn about yourself and others. Will you dare to stay in your heart today? What? Yes! It takes practice and determination. Do you want THEM to win? Heck NO!
When I find myself SAD and out of sorts I do my best to go to my fun list. A list of things that make me happy. Then, I do at least one thing on the list. Sure, I can return to being SAD later---but for a time I’m in bliss. We can NEVER be miserable enough to get THEM to see what they have done to us----so, you might as well BE HAPPY the best you can. After a while guess what---you’ll be happier more than SAD. Now that’s the best revenge! Will you best THEM in the best possible way---even if it’s a place or a thing that has you sad? Yep, sometimes we are just “out-of-sorts” not cranky---just feeling off center. At times like these I find having a habit(s) a blessing. Hiking, meditating, or even cleaning---whatever you can do to help move the energy around.
Recently, one of my salvations had to be given up---that and moving--- really through me into that “out-of-sorts” feeling. I then remembered my list of things I like to do routinely----I hiked for starters. Pretty soon I was ready to try teaching myself yoga----still throwing me for a tizzy because I am not what you would call “limber.” I am still doing the yoga and getting a bit better at following the beginners tape and giving myself permission to not get it perfectly. I don’t do change easily since my childhood was so chaotic---if you don’t change easily; perhaps, you’ll make a list of things you enjoy to do on a regular basis so when your daily rituals are interrupted you can get-back-to your-centered-self easier----allowing yourself to go-with-the-flow. Will you? |
