What is real is the love in our hearts. We and myself included must acknowledge our feelings and then decide if we want to hold onto it or transmute it through refocusing on what is important.
For example, the other day someone was freaking out on me and doing his best to make me feel wrong. I at first got hooked and tried to defend myself. The drama grew. Then I stopped and saw I could not control his feelings. All I could was control how I was reacting.
It bothered me for a day---then, I got it. I was holding onto the resentment drama. I had to laugh because I was holding onto his point of view about me. I returned that limitation to him and now am peaceful.
