It can sting if you don’t remind yourself that they are lashing out for their own reasons---usually because they are living in limitation.
You don’t have to take on the guilt, shame and blame they are slinging your way---even if their posse all agree that you are the bad guy. We all have our posse. There is no right or wrong on the bigger level.
Do your best to use the tool---"isn’t that interesting that they have that point of view about me. Isn’t it interesting." Then blow up any of your judgments----I love to return everything to the sender knowing it goes back in neutral anyway.
