KC: Even though I know you mean well perhaps you can’t see how I can make a living at “it.” Just as I can’t quite see “how” either. I choose to not be discouraged and to follow my “bliss.”
KC: Even though I really need your encouragement I realize perhaps you can’t encourage me in this area because of your limitations. I choose to acknowledge that we ALL have limitations; and to follow my passion no matter what anyone says.
KC: Even though I’m a bit shaky on “how” to make money I realize I might go to people who doubt my abilities as an excuse to stop following my passion so that I don’t grow.
EB: Why do you always discourage me
SE: I need your support and encouragement
UE: I need someone to help me brainstorm and inspire me
UN: I need guidance not discouragement
CH: Why do you always see things negatively
CB: The better question is why do I seek your counsel when I know you always put my ideas down
UA: Perhaps I’m just afraid to face my fears
TH: Fears of Failure
EB: Fears of success
SE: Perhaps it’s not your fault
UE: Perhaps I’m just too afraid to take risks
UN: I know I failed at other ventures in the past
CH: This is different
CB: This feels right on a deeper level
UA: I could really help people
TH: I’m just a bit stuck
EB: I could look around for people who do similar work
SE: That would be the right source of support and guidance
UE: Being disappointed in people who discourage me only holds me back
UN: I choose to focus on the people that CAN encourage and help me
CH: I choose to ignore the people who criticize me
CB: And focus on the people who can uplift me
UA: True entrepreneurs take in all opinions and then
TH: Follow their “heart”
Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth- ahhhh
CB: Step by step, inch by inch---taking baby steps. I now have healthy choices and positive people to reach out to. I choose to surround myself with positive energy. I truly can take what I like and leave the rest.
As you go through the day and the negative tapes and voices come into your head tap on the UE and say, “What does my heart say and where is it leading me? Who can I turn to who is impartial?”
