KC: Even though I’m afraid to fail and that is keeping me stuck and under earning. I choose to honor and acknowledge my fears and to be open to change.
KC: Even though I don’t think I have the skill set “THEY” are asking for I’m open to looking at my life stills that might help me advance.
KC: Even though I’ve failed in the past when I tried to break out of my “mold” I’m open to that belief being changed.
EB: I can’t take another failure
SE: If I don’t do anything I can’t fail
UE: I’m afraid to try and fail again
UN: I don’t have the educational certificate THEY need
CH: THEY won’t consider life skills and experience
CB: I just know I’ll never advance
UA: I’ll always be an under earner
TH: I’ll always have to work several jobs to make the money I need
EB: I’m too old to go back to school
SE: I don’t have the time or the money
UE: I have to work too many jobs to make it all happen
UN: I don’t have the energy
CH: I’m afraid to try
CB: I’ve failed so many times
UA: I just can’t face one more rejection
TH: It’s too overwhelming
EB: What if someone could help me think outside of the box
SE: What if there was a solution but I just wasn’t open to seeing it
UE: Maybe I could work out a trade with a life coach
UN: Maybe there is a group I can join where I can get support
CH: Maybe I can tap on more of my fears
CB: Just voicing my fears is releasing some of the tension and anxiety
UA: It might take some time but I think I can overcome this fear
TH: I think I’ll start with letting some of it go now
Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth- ahhhh
CB: Letting go of some of the fear---looking at the help that MIGHT be out there---that’s hopeful
As you go through the day and the fear and hopelessness creeps in tap on the UE and say “I acknowledge you fear and you’ve done a great job at keeping me safe. Now it’s time to change and find the support we need. Let’s look together for the help and support we need.
