Sometimes the fear of change can still keep us from taking contrary
action.  Let’s borrow benefits and shift this a bit.

KC: Even though I can’t quite see myself taking different action while I’m in
this old response.  I acknowledge this and love myself anyway
KC: Even though I can’t see myself changing---I accept that I feel stuck
KC: Even though I keep thinking I have to be fearless in order to change --- I acknowledge this and am willing to change 

EB: I have to be fearless
SE: I have to be perfect
UE: I can’t do it
UN: My fear is stopping me
CH: My perfection program is stopping me
CB: It feels impossible
UA: I can’t
TH: I have to be certain before I take action

EB: But what if this was the perfect time to try something new
SE: When I’m IN the old fear and programing
UE: What if I let a new thought come in
UN: Isn’t that interesting
CH: What’s it gonna take to change this
CB: I bet over time my mind will try different reactions
UA: I bet I can change my response
TH: I bet it will become second nature

EB: This old way was learned
SE: I’ve changed other things about myself
UE: I can do this
UN: I can take this contrary action
CH: And I’m gonna acknowledge when I do
CB: I’m gonna be proud of myself
UA: This will expand me
TH: Expand me into a new and dynamic ME

Sometime our need to do things perfectly keeps us stuck in old responsive
behavior.  Let’s borrow benefits and tap some charge off.

KC: Even though I have this belief that I have to be certain about the
outcome---I acknowledge this and am open to changing it
KC: Even though I have this belief that I have to do it perfectly---I’m open to this changing
KC: Even though it doesn’t seem possible that I can change my
behavior---I acknowledge my apprehension and love myself anyway

EB: I have to be certain of the outcome
SE: What if I make it worse
UE: I have to know it will work
UN: I don’t like making mistakes
CH: It makes me feel stupid
CB: I don’t like wasting time
UA: So why try something different
TH: I have to be perfect

EB: I want a guarantee
SE: I refuse to change
UE: I’ll feel like a fool
UN: But I hate the way my life is right now
CH: I don’t like games
CB: But no one has to know
UA: I can play this game in my head
TH: I’m comfortable there

EB: I don’t have to be certain about how this will be
SE: I can start with just observing and noticing
UE: I can play with how I might respond differently
UN: I don’t have to do it perfectly
CH: Taking this new approach just might be empowering
CB: I can try it and see what happens
UA: That sounds okay
TH: Just trying on new responses---just noticing

It takes time to change our programming but well worth it---and it starts
with observing our response and lovingly changing it.  Let’s borrow
benefits and tap some charge off.

KC: Even though I still have this knee jerk reaction of freezing and being
afraid in my body---I acknowledge this and am open to changing this
KC:Even though my first feeling is fear---I’m open to it changing to excitement of experiencing something new---That I’m safe and can change
KC: Even though I still have this fear response as my default---I acknowledge this and am open to changing because I love myself

EB: What if I could let go of some of this fear that I’ll react the same old
way
SE: I wonder what that would be like
UE: What if I didn’t berate myself when I found myself having a fear response
UN: What if I just laughed and said: “isn’t that interesting”
CH: I may not do it all the time
CB: But I bet with practice I can
UA: In fact I bet I could turn it into a game
TH: That might take the pressure off

EB: I know I can do that
SE: I don’t have to make it hard
UE: I want more peace in my life
UN: I want more ease and grace in my life
CH: I have enough people in my life that criticize me
CB: I don’t have to add to the bunch
UA: I choose to love myself to new responses
TH: But I have to be perfect

EB: No, I don’t
SE: I can take a look at that separately
UE: All I have to do is observe my reaction
UN: Just say: “Isn’t that interesting”
CH: Laugh and envision doing it differently
CB: How would that feel
UA: Makes more sense than beating myself up
TH: Letting it be fun

freeze.  Let’s borrow benefits and tap some charge off.

KC: Even though I experience fear in my body when I think about taking a
different action---I acknowledge and accept that my body is used to this
response and I want to change it
KC: Even though one of my defaults is anxiety when I even think about changing---I accept and love myself
KC: Even though I feel so overwhelmed just thinking about changing---I’m open to my body finding other ways in which to respond

EB: Oooops, there goes my fear program
SE: There goes my anxiety program
UE: It’s all too much
UN: I can’t
CH: I feel a tightness in my stomach
CB: I get a headache
UA: I freeze
TH: I can’t think

EB: I don’t know what to do
SE: My throat hurts and feels tight
UE: I’m brain dead
UN: I don’t know how to stop this fear
CH: This anxiety
CB: This panic
UA: I can’t relax
TH: I’ve always been this way

EB: What if I could change this physical  response
SE: That’s impossible
UE: But what if I could
UN: What if I could
CH: That would be great
CB: I’m open to seeing if I can
UA: I’m open to considering the possibilities
TH: I’m open to the possibility

Life sucks

Sometimes we get overwhelmed with our old patterns and all the years
wasted.  Let’s borrow benefits and tap that pile of beliefs away.

KC: Even though up to now my life has “sucked”---I’m open to letting it
go and to stop beating myself up for all the years I’ve wasted
KC: Even though I have this list of ways my life has “sucked” and it causes me to procrastinate  and not trust a new process---I’m open to shifting my
perspective and loving myself
KC: Even though I feel like a huge disappointment and failure and that makes me want to beat myself up---I’m open to changing that thinking

EB: I’m a huge disappointment
SE: My l life has sucked for years
UE: It makes me give up and even procrastinate
UN: Why should I trust that my life can change
CB: I’ve been so hurt and I’m afraid
UA: I’ve failed in the past
TH: Life just sucks

EB: I want to let go of this belief
SE: I want to let go of the pain and disappointments
UE: I want to let go of the anger
UN: I want a new default
UE: Not one of expecting life to suck
UN: But to know I can create a new life
CH: I don’t want to expect a tragedy
CB: No I don’t
UA: Yes, I do
TH: I wanna be happy and joyful

EB: I want a new default
SE: I want to expect that life will work out
UE: I want to forgive myself and others
UN: To accept that it was what it was
CH: That I don’t have to be a prisoner of the past
CB: That with tapping I can change my perspective and reaction to life
UA: I choose clarity and focus
TH: That I will be lead to solutions and new reactions

KC: Even though sometimes I don’t think I know what I need to choose to know--- I do

EB: I acknowledge the great job my ego and mind have done
SE: It’s now time to trust my heart
UE: It’s time to trust my heart
UN: Letting it be easy and effortless
CH: My heart knows exactly what to do
CB: I allow it to lead me to my hearts desires
UA: To guide me there in joy
TH: If it’s light it’s right

EB: Letting go of it having to be serious
SE: Letting it be joyful and easy
UE: FUN
UN: Laughing
CH: Choosing happiness to be my default feeling
CB: Acknowledging the past and embracing a new attitude
UA: Letting go of emotions that no longer serve me
TH: Letting the unknown excite me
 
EB: I honor my feelings
SE: Letting myself shift my perspective
UE: Fear and excitement are the same neurological physical
responses
UN: Choosing to know my body is now EXCITED about the possibilities
that lie before me
CH: I honor how far I’ve come
CB: I allow my body to integrate the old lessons
UA: And embrace the new template
TH: I am ready to trust the process and embrace a new life and attitude

TH: I am more capable and creative than I thought

EB: I allow myself to receive love

UE: It’s okay to receive
UN: I don’t have to DO
CH: I can receive

EB: It’s safe to put down my barriers to receiving
SE: Choosing to be vulnerable
UE: Knowing I am divinely guided and thus safe

CB: Letting in the love that is all around me
UA: The love that has always been there

TH: I pay  attention to how my body feels when I eat certain foods

EB: I love how strong my body is
SE: I take care of my body
UE: I love how my body looks
UN: I accept it ---wrinkles and all
CH: I love and accept my body just the way it is
CB: I’m grateful for my body
UA: Thank you body for all you do for me
TH: Thank you body for supporting me

EB: I love you body
SE: I love my willing spirit
UE: I love that I’m willing to accept myself just as I am
UN: I give myself permission to love myself more and more each day
CH: It’s so easy to love and take care of my body
CB: It’s so easy to make all the right choices
UA: It’s so easy to remain calm and confident
