Sometimes we avoid change because in the past we didn’t care for the healthy substitution.  Link of something you want to change and let’s borrow benefits and tap in some willingness to change Pt 1

KC: Even though I want to drink more water---I acknowledge I don’t want to
KC: Even though I dislike the taste of water---I acknowledge that I’m just not used to drinking water
KC: Even though I’d rather drink tea or soda---I honor and acknowledge my old habits and want to change them

EB: I don’t like the taste of water
SE: It’s blah 
UE: Even cold I’d rather drink soda
UN: More water will make me go to the bathroom more
CH: I don’t like to stop that often
CB: It’s too much trouble to drink more water
UA: It’s more of a chore
TH: I have to keep track of when to stop drinking water

EB: Otherwise I’ll be up all night
SE: It’s too difficult
UE: It’s too much trouble
UN: It’s too expensive to buy that much water
CH: It doesn’t satisfy me
CB: But, most of the time I’m thirsty
UA: Instead of hungry
TH: Maybe I won’t eat so much if I’m not thirsty

EB: I like soda
SE: I don’t want to drink more water
UE: Yes, I do
UN: I want to be healthier
CH: I want to help my body clean itself from the inside out
CB: It will help my energy system
UA: It will plump up my organs
TH: It’s good for me

KC: Even though I eat when I’m angry I honor and acknowledge this
KC: Even though I eat when I’m resentful as well---I honor and acknowledge these emotions
that I’m feeling
KC: Even though I’m angry a lot and overeat---I’m willing to start to shift this

EB: All this anger
SE: All this resentment 
UE: I have good reason to be angry
UN: I’m mad at the world
CH: You don’t know what I’ve had to put with
CB: I don’t want to let go of the past
UA: I have to stay on my toes
TH: I might get hurt again

EB: But these emotions are holding me back
SE: I’m never at peace
UE: All this anger
UN: I can’t forgive them
CH: I can’t forgive me
CB: I keep holding onto it
UA: It’s my problem now
TH: I wasn’t vigilant enough

EB: I didn’t know enough
SE: All this anger
UE: All these emotions 
UN: If I don’t eat I feel the anger
CH: If I don’t eat I’ll have to face how I felt back THEN
CB: What if that meant I’d be free
UA: What if I
can’t deal with it
TH: Oh---feel, tap, release

CB: It’s going to be okay---replacing one habit with another---one that will
release me from the imprisonment of my emotions

KC: Even though I experience stress every time I go to eat something---I honor and acknowledge it
KC: Even though I eat to relieve my stress---it’s creating more stress

EB: Stress over eating
SE: Will I be able to stop eating 
UE: Will I eat too much
UN: All this mistrust
CH: I feel frozen
CB: Food helps me relax
UA: It helps me cope in the moment
TH: Not after though

EB: But right now
SE: It’s my addiction
UE: What will I do if I can’t eat
UN: All these emotions
CH: All this stress
CB: I hate this
UA: Maybe it’s about learning a new way to deal with the stress
TH: Maybe it doesn’t have to be difficult

EB: What might distract me in the moment
SE: Maybe the question
UE: How will eating
UN: Contribute to my vision
CH: Of how I want my life to be in the future
CB: I create tomorrow today
UA: I can clean
TH: I can walk

KC: Even though I have all this guilt over a myriad of things I admit it’s weighing me down
KC: Even though I feel guilty when I overeat and let my emotions get the better of me—I honor and acknowledge this
KC: Even though I’m drowning in guilt I want to start letting some of this go

EB: All this guilt
SE: I can’t deal with it 
UE: I want to be better now
UN: I don’t feel in control
CH: I beat myself up if I eat 1 cracker too much
CB: All this guilt
UA: It weighs me down
TH: No wonder I can’t lose weight

EB: Guilt
SE: Guilt and more guilt
UE: I eat to relieve my guilt
UN: And then I create more guilt
CH: Maybe I learned this behavior
CB: Oh, that’s what my father did
UA: Overate cause he felt like a looser  
TH: Return to sender

EB: All this guilt
SE: All these emotions
UE: What if I’m doing the same behavior as my father
UN: To help him learn the lesson
CH: Well, I got it now---- NEXT
CB: Please body
UA: I give you permission to let go of this guilt
TH: And return this learned behavior to sender 

Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth- ahhhh

CB: I no longer have to behave like my father---as soon as I realize the behavior I can acknowledge it and return it to sender and acknowledge that I did GREAT in noticing and taking just the right energetic action

KC: Even though I eat when I’m lonely I honor and accept myself anyway
KC: Even though I eat when I’m lonely I acknowledge that food has been my friend and now it’s time to let the friendship evolve
KC: Even though food is my friend I acknowledge that we each need to graduate and take on different roles

EB: All this loneliness
SE: Food is my friend 
UE: I can’t do this alone
UN: I don’t feel alone when I eat
CH: The fear stops for just a brief time
CB: All this pain
UA: All these emotions
TH: It’s too much

EB: I’m in the habit of eating when I hurt
SE: I’m in the habit of eating when I’m alone
UE: It’s my go-to behavior
UN: I learned it somewhere 
CH: The pain of the emotions is too intense
CB: I don’t want to grow up 
UA: And be responsible
TH: It’s safer to blame my addiction to eating

EB: It keeps me small but safe
SE: It’ keeps me from one more hurt
UE: But I’m miserable
UN: All this pain
CH: Just feeling it
CB: Interrupting my mental berating when I slip
UA: Praising myself when I stop mid-binge
TH: Praising myself when I eat right

CB: Praising myself and food for the new choices we are making

KC: Even though I acknowledge I’m an emotional eater I horror and acknowledge this
KC: Even though I’m not sure what is the “trigger” emotion I honor and acknowledge that I’m an emotional eater
KC: Even though there seems to be SO many reasons why I overeat---I honor all my reasons and emotions and choose to start letting them go

EB: I’m overwhelmed by my emotions
SE: There are all these triggers 
UE: All these triggers
UN: I feel so damaged
CH: I only have to take one emotion at a time
CB: I’m open to discovering one emotion at a time
UA: I don’t know which one it is
TH: Maybe it’s stress

EB: Maybe it’s anxiety
SE: Maybe it anger
UE: I’m open to discovering one
UN: To work on releasing one at a time
CH: Maybe it’s lack of control
CB: Which one comes to mind
UA: Hummmm, loneliness
TH: Fatigue

EB: Overwhelm
SE: I just have to pick one
UE: I’ll start with feeling out of control
UN: Eating when I don’t know what to do
CH: Like pin-pointing an emotion to tap on
CB: How silly is that
UA: Feeling out of control
TH: Feeling, tapping and releasing

KC: Even though I have all these feelings and emotions around food and eating---I honor and accept myself
KC: Even though I have all these emotions around food, my body, eating---I honor and accept myself
KC: Even though I don’t want to look at my behavior---I want to change---so I honor and
acknowledge my willingness

 EB: All these emotions
SE: I can’t stand it 
UE: I don’t want to look at my feelings or emotions
UN: I want to let them go
CH: They don’t seem to leave
CB: I feel trapped
UA: I feel hopeless
TH: I’m still going to the food

EB: I hate this
SE: I want to accept me as I am right now
UE: So I can change
UN: It feels impossible
CH: It feels hopeless
CB: I want to love my Botticelli figure
UA: Love it enough to let it change
TH: Until I’m slim and trim

EB: Until I don’t need food as a crutch
SE: I choose to love my Botticelli figure
UE: I choose to tap on the feelings that come up around that
UN: I choose to be happy
CH: I can be happy on the inside
CB: I choose to focus on being happy on the inside
UA: I choose to be happy when I even eat a tad healthier
TH: I choose to celebrate ME and my body just the way we are

KC: Even though I’m afraid I’ll eat instead of feel and tapping through my emotional overwhelm---I
acknowledge I’m doing my best
KC: Even though I eat when I feel anxious I honor and acknowledge the clarity I’m gleaning 

EB: I feel anxious
SE: It won’t stop 
UE: I have to eat
UN: I can’t control it
CH: I’m afraid
CB: Now there are too may emotions
UA: I can’t keep track of them
TH: ARGGGGGG

EB: I feel like a fool
SE: I’m judging myself
UE: What if I give in and eat
UN: What if I can’t tap this emotional charge off
CH: I can’t even figure out what is triggering it
CB: I need help
UA: I’m afraid I’ll lose control
TH: All this fear

EB: All this anxiety
SE: I need to eat to temporarily release the anxiety
UE:  Do I
UN: Eating only temporarily releases the anxiety
CH: Then I beat myself up again
CB: I don’t want to do that
UA: All this stress and anxiety
TH: All this internal struggle

CB: I’m doing great----feeling, tapping and releasing and just riding the emotional wave for as long as I can

KC: Even though I’m experiencing all this deep sadness over all these overwhelming emotions—I honor and acknowledge my courage
KC: Even though all these emotions freak me out and I feel empty and scared inside I acknowledge
that my go-to behavior is to eat
KC: Even though food stops the pain and overwhelm of the emotions---I want to change my go-to behavior

EB: All these emotions
SE: I feel out of control  
UE: All this pain
UN: All this loneliness
CH: I’m all alone
CB: I feel empty and scared
UA: No one to help me
TH: Food is my friend

EB: It soothes me
SE: It temporarily stops the emotions
UE: It keeps me company
UN: I can depend on my temporary fix
CH: All this loneliness
CB: All these emotions
UA: I need the food
TH: I need to stop the pain

EB: I need a friend who won’t judge
SE: I need to feel better
UE: I KNOW it’s just a temporary fix
UN: I need it
CH: I have to have it
CB: Well, maybe I can feel, tap, release for a bit more
UA: The tapping just brings up more feelings
TH: It’s okay to cry while I’m tapping and just feeling

KC: Even though my emotions are off the chart and I feel so deprived and alone---I honor and acknowledge myself
KC: Even though I can’t seem to refrain from food like other people do when they are overwhelmed with emotions---I honor and acknowledge that this is my challenge in this life
KC: Even though I feel deprived and in a way abandoned by myself---I honor and acknowledge this

EB: All these emotions
SE: They’re gonna kill me 
UE: I have to make them stop with food
UN: If I don’t eat I’ll die
CH: I feel deprived if I don’t eat
CB: I have to eat when I feel this way
UA: I don’t feel in control
TH: All the shame

EB: There’s never enough food to make the feelings go away
SE: It’s an insatiable urge
UE: I have to give into it
UN: I’m ashamed I can’t eat like other people
CH: All this deprivation if I don’t eat
CB: It makes it worse
UA: I feel like I’m punishing myself
TH: I feel like I’m being mean to myself

EB: All these horrible feelings
SE: Make them stop
UE: I can’t make the urges stop
UN: ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
CH: All these emotions
CB: Feel, tap, release
UA: ARGGGGGGGGGG
TH: All these feelings and emotions

Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth- ahhhh

CB: At least I’m taking contrary action by feeling, tapping, and releasing some of the emotions----that’s a good thing
