Let’s tap in a twist on a well-known adage---because once we accept then we can change.  Let’s borrow benefits ---pick what you are resisting and  let’s tap

KC: Even though I’m in some resistance---I choose to have serenity for the things I cannot change
KC: Even though I’m in some resistance---I choose the courage and enthusiasm to change the things I can
KC: Even though I still have some resistance---I choose the wisdom to know the difference

EB: Thank you (insert your name) for being patient
SE: Thank you for loving yourself 
UE: Thank you
UN: I am love
CH: I already have serenity
CB: I have a healthy self-esteem
UA: I freely and creatively express myself
TH: I create New Experiences for myself

EB: I recognize the greatness in others as I do in myself
SE: I’m in transition
UE: And I’m not afraid
UN: I choose serenity
CH: I choose to embrace courage
CB: I choose to embrace enthusiasm
UA: I choose to embrace my wisdom

We can’t move forward in our lives if we are focusing on others.  Let’s
borrow benefits and tap.

KC: Even though I think I have to focus on others and change them---I’m open to letting this go so I can move forward
KC: Even though I thought I had to judge and project to protect myself and others---I realize it’s holding me back and I want to change this and love myself
KC: Even though I’m really scared that I’ll have to do everything on my own and I won’t be able to----I acknowledge this and love and accept myself

EB: If I don’t blame them
SE: I’ll be the one responsible
UE: I’m overwhelmed
UN: I’m afraid I won’t be able to take care of it all
CH: I can’t do it
CB: I’m afraid
UA: If I can’t blame them I won’t have an excuse for how my life is
TH: But it’s holding me back

EB: It’s not serving me
SE: It’s keeping me stuck
UE: I’m scared
UN: Maybe I can find others to help me
CH: Maybe solutions will present themselves if I don’t focus on “others”
CB: Maybe it’s okay to let go
UA: Maybe it’s okay to ask for help
TH: I can still be independent

EB: I’m just gathering information
SE: Empowering information on who and what can help me in my life
UE: I can do this
UN: I don’t have to be afraid
CH: It’s time to focus on my life and needs
CB: Choosing not to be stuck
UA: Choosing to focus on what makes me happy
TH: Choosing to focus on what my needs are

Choosing to let go and change is not easy.  Let’s borrow benefits and
start shifting.

KC: Even though I have this dreadful habit of projecting and judging I choose to start letting it go
KC: Even though I have this habit of judging and projecting onto others and thinking I’m right---I acknowledge this and am open to changing this
KC: Even though I have a bit of resistance to changing this habit---I’m open to choosing differently

EB: I don’t want to
SE: But it’s not working for me
UE: This behavior is not working
UN: They aren’t changing
CH: I want to change this
CB: I choose to start letting this pattern go
UA: It’s not serving me
TH: Or, the people I know

EB: I choose to start letting it go
SE: No I don’t
UE: It’s not serving me
UN: Okay, so I can choose to try a different way
CH: I can choose to start letting it go
CB: To start making different responses
UA: To notice when I project and judge
TH: To start changing my behavior

EB: To hold them in love
SE: To let them fail if they need to
UE: To allow them the dignity of learning their life lessons
UN: To respect them enough to fail
CH: To love myself enough to not play God
CB: So we can have a loving and respectful relationship
UA: Giving them the space to change
TH: Giving myself the space to change

Sometimes we don’t accept people and project onto them our judgments and what we want them to be instead of accepting them.  Let’s borrow benefits and start shifting that.

KC: Even though I project onto others how I think they should be I
acknowledge this and am open to changing this behavior
KC: Even though I have this shortcoming I want to change this
KC: Even though I project and project and hate it when others won’t change and it’s frustrating---I acknowledge this and am open to changing it

EB: I want them to change
SE: I project onto others
UE: I judge them
UN: I expect them to be a certain way
CH: My intentions are good
CB: I think I know what would be best for them
UA: If they’d only listen to me
TH: And do what I say

EB: But what if they are resenting me
SE: What if that is causing the problem
UE: Of my not being loved
UN: Of others not accepting me
CH: What if they are rejecting me because of my habit of projecting
CB: But I’m right
UA: I am right
TH: But what if I held the space of love for them

EB: They might want to change then
SE: My way isn’t working
UE: Maybe there is a better way
UN: Accepting them
CH: Letting them fail if they have to
CB: Loving them enough to let them be
UA: Loving myself enough to stop projection
TH: Loving myself to notice my habit and stop projecting

CB:  Letting myself be open to letting go of my habit of projecting and
judging

What do you do when everything appears NEGATIVE .  How do you change it around? Then I read the best quote from Melody Beattie: “Thank you God, for everything in my life, just as it is.”  Let’s borrow benefits and tap.

KC: Even though I’m looking around and all I see is the negative I acknowledge my situation and am open to seeing it differently.
KC: Even though I can SEE all the negative things in my life and I don’t understand why things aren’t getting better. I’m open to trying one more thing.
KC: Even though I’m in the habit of looking at life through a negative-lens I’m open to trying something different.

EB: My life sucks
SE: Nothing is working
UE: Just look around
UN: Can’t you see my life is a mess
CH: THAT is real
CB: I can’t seem to change it
UA: Nothing will open up for me
TH: I don’t know what to do

EB: Just look around
SE: My life is a mess
UE: I’m too old
UN: I’m too tired
CH: I’ve never gotten a break
CB: Positive affirmations just don’t work
UA: I heard that sometimes you have to fake it til you make it
TH: It has worked for others---what have I to loose

EB: Thank you, God, for everything in my life, JUST as it is
SE: Thank you, Source, for everything in my life, JUST as it is
UE: Thank you, beings of light, for everything in my life, JUST as it is
UN: Thank you, Higher Spirit, for everything in my life, JUST as it is
