Annoying people

Sometimes we attract annoying clients and people into our lives to lead us to a deeper level of compassion for ourselves.  Let’s borrow benefits and tap some charge off.

KC: Even though I thought once I “awakened spiritually” I wouldn’t have to deal with “annoying people” and here I am with a few STILL in my life---I acknowledge my feelings
KC: Even though I’m so frustrated cause there are still annoying people in my life and I’m the one doing ALL THE WORK ---I’m open to a new perspective
KC: Even though I hate this----WHY are there still annoying people in my life---it’s unfair and I want to you know about it---and I accept how I feel----ticked off as a matter-of-fact

EB: WHY
SE: It’s not fair
UE: They are so annoying
UN: I want to squash them
CH: GET AWAY FROM ME ----NOW
CB: I can’t stand THEM
UA: It makes me MAD and then I don’t feel so spiritual
TH: What’s the deal---I hate this---I’m not calm at all

EB: I can’t seem to stop fixating on them
SE: THEY are the ones who are annoying and like trolls
UE: I’m the spiritual one
UN: WHY must I suffer their petty annoyances
CH: WHY am I still attracting annoying people into my life
CB: I’m feeling it and I’m still mad
UA: I’m tapping and they aren’t changing
TH: I’m sorry body---I’m so mad

EB: Please forgive me for holding onto this
SE: I acknowledge my frustration
UE: Maybe it’s to teach me to have compassion, acceptance, allowing and space for myself
UN: To know that I need to acknowledge to myself how deeply I relate and how hard I fight to hold onto my position and opinions
CH: I can relate to their stubbornness and fear of letting go and taking responsibility
CB: I’m sorry body and soul----I am compassion
UA: I am acceptance and allowing
TH: And I am giving myself the space to know that on some level they can’t help it and that I get to be in gratitude for all the letting go I have done

Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth- ahhhh

CB: The more I acknowledge that I am compassionate, accepting, allowing and knowing I am proud of all the letting go I’ve done---the more space there is for them to change”

When the limiting thoughts come back tap on the UE and say or think: “I am committed to noticing where they are and where I am and to be grateful for how far I’ve come and allow them the space to catch up to me---that makes me happy”

That doubting thought that it can’t be this easy to tap out the annoying belief that you’ll get sick every summer.  Let’s borrow benefits and tap some charge off.

KC: Even though I’ve been letting all my annoying doubts get the better of me for years---I’m open to changing this
KC: Even though I don’t quite know what the NEW me is going to look and act like- I acknowledge this and am open to changing anyway
KC: Even though I don’t know what will happen I’m open to new possibilities

EB: Who will I be
SE: How will people react to me
UE: What if they don’t even notice that I’ve changed
UN: Oh dear
CH: That’s scary
CB: Expand that thought out
UA: What will I be like
TH: It seems like a lot of work

EB: Discovering what I’ll like
SE:  Discovering what works for me
UE: Discovering a new me
UN: Expand that fear out and out and out
CH: How will I relate to people I know
CB: What if I don’t like being around them
UA: What if they don’t like me
TH: What if I don’t find people who will like the new me

EB: Expand that out and out and out
SE: I don’t need to judge who I am becoming
UE: I need only observe what feels right and light
UN: Letting go of resisting change
CH: It’s okay to choose health and vitality
CB: It’s okay
UA: It will happen gradually
TH: I’ll adjust gradually

Darn remaining resistances in life---aren’t they annoying?  Let’s borrow benefits and tap some charge off.

KC: Even though it doesn’t seem possible to let it all go---I’m open to besting the annoyance
KC: Even though it appears that it’s coming back ---I acknowledge this and can learn to expand it out and let it go
KC: Even though the resistance controlled me in the past---I choose to turn the tables on
resistance now

EB: This darn remaining annoying resistance
SE: It’s part of me
UE: What would I do if I didn’t resist SOMETHING
UN: Gosh what would I do
CH: Maybe that’s why I cling to it
CB: What if I was healthy all the time
UA: I wouldn’t have anything in common with others
TH: I’d be the odd one

EB: Hey, lots of people stay healthy
SE: All this resistance
UE: All this heaviness
UN: It’s exhausting
CH: I’m ready to let it go
CB: Imagining it getting larger and larger
UA: Expanding out into the universe
TH: Fading away

EB: Imagine me healthy
SE: Strong
UE: Vibrant
UN: Compassionate for those who do get sick
CH: Being grateful I’m not getting sick
CB: Ooops, there’s that resistance again
UA: Letting it expand out and out and out
TH: Letting it fade away

CB: Empowering myself every time I let the fear and annoyance expand out and out and out

KC: Even though I have this resistance to not getting a summer cold I acknowledge this
KC: Even though my mind doesn’t think it’s possible---I acknowledge this resistance
KC: Even though I have this resistance to changing my beliefs ---I’m open to changing this 

EB: All this resistance
SE: I can’t seem to change my beliefs
UE: They keep hanging on
UN: WHY
CH: I can’t stand it
CB: It’s annoying the crap out of me
UA: All this resistance
TH: All this heavy energy

EB: I feel trapped
SE: It feels hopeless
UE: I can’t imagine that it will ever be gone
UN: I can’t imagine having healthy beliefs
CH: Spiritual people get sick
CB: I know there is a lesson in it
UA: Is that a belief
TH: I’m sick of all this

EB: All this resistance to changing my belief around a summer cold
SE: What if I didn’t get sick
UE: What if I let some resistance go
UN: What if I just accepted that I don’t have to DO HEALTHY PERFECTLY
CH: Oh, I’m thinking I have to be PERFECT
CB: That’s just a belief
UA: Letting another layer of resistance start to fade
TH: Some relief to the heaviness of the resistance

CB: Just letting the resistance fade a bit at a time

Happy Birthday ME

KC: Even though it’s my birthday and I don’t feel very happy---I honor and acknowledge this and am open to changing this
KC: Even though it’s my birthday and I feel like a failure is so many areas of my life---I acknowledge this and choose to shift my focus
KC: Even though it’s my birthday and I’m NOT where I thought I would be in so many ways---I honor and acknowledge this and choose to focus on what is working in my life

EB: No I don’t
SE: I’m a failure
UE: I don’t deserve to be happy
UN: I don’t deserve to take the day off or be happy
CH: I’m a failure
CB: All these feelings of failure
UA: I never had a happy birthday
TH: As a kid my step-mother always ruined them

EB: Oh, and here I am repeating the pattern
SE: The heck with that
UE: Hey, my eyes are brighter and clearer than ever
UN: My smile is more genuine
CH: I’m more connected to spirit
CB: I’m more connected to my purpose in life
UA: I’m letting people into my life
TH: People who are honest and trustworthy

EB: People who want the best for me
SE: I’m safe for today
UE: I’m secure for today
UN: I have a healthy body for today
CH: I love my walks
CB: I love how I can help others
UA: I love myself more and more
TH: I love myself more today than last year

CB: Hey, this is turning out to be a great birthday after all

Sometimes our body gets sick in spite of our beliefs and we can come down pretty hard on ourselves.  Let’s borrow benefits and tap some charge off.


KC: Even though I got this annoying summer cold in spite of taking care of myself---I acknowledge my disappointment
KC: Even though I can’t believe I got sick---I honor my feelings
KC: Even though I got sick and feel like a failure ---I acknowledge that I can keep clearing my old beliefs and emerge stronger and healthier

EB: I got sick
SE: This darn runny nose
UE: I feel achy all over 
UN: I’m a failure
CH: Why did I get sick
CB: I don’t feel like tapping on my symptoms
UA: Maybe I can just tap in between sneezing
TH: It’s easier to take a cold tablet

EB: But, what if I tapped on how I’m sorry I am putting myself through all this
SE: What if that was a way to reclaim my power
UE: My poor body
UN: Maybe it needed something I wasn’t aware of
CH: What was happening around the time I started getting sick
CB: I’m open to letting it go
UA: Oh, it was when I felt overwhelmed at work
TH: I wasn’t standing up for myself

EB: I’m sorry body
SE: Please forgive me
UE: I’m sorry you got sick to get my attention
UN: I love you
CH: I won’t beat myself up
CB: I must be pretty powerful
UA: I manifested this cold to get my attention
TH: I’m open to listening to the signals

CB: A healthy body only comes when you are healthy in all areas of life---I promise body to check in with you more

Summer colds
Sometimes we just can’t envision a different outcome.  Let’s borrow benefits and tap some charge off.

KC: Even though I get sick every year---I’m open to this year being different
KC: Even though I like the time off I am a prisoner so-to-speak and it’s not the best way to spend a day off from work
KC: Even though it’s normal for me to get a darn summer cold---I acknowledge this and am open to this year being different

EB: But, I get sick every year
SE: I’m open to it being different this year
UE: But, what if I get sick anyway
UN: I am getting better and better at taking care of myself
CH: I’d rather be healthy
CB: I’d rather be more honest with myself
UA: I’d rather go someplace fun on a day off
TH: I’d rather not punish myself in order to take a day off

EB: But, every year I do get sick
SE: I do have this belief that I will get sick
UE: Everyone gets sick
UN: Well, not everyone
CH: I do have this belief that I can’t goof off
CB: That I have to really get sick to take time off
UA: I think I’d rather stay healthy
TH: And have more energy for the weekends

EB: To power pack my weekends
SE: To be fully present
UE: Even if I’m just sitting in a park
UN: That’s taking care of me
CH: Then I don’t have to feel guilty and manifest symptoms of a cold
CB: I’d rather be healthy
UA: I’d rather be honest
TH: I’d rather be more present

CB: That is a goal of mine---to be more present and aware during each moment

Oh, those dreaded summer colds.  In and out of air conditioned place and being around people who have summer colds.  Let’s borrow benefits and tap some charge off.

KC: Even though I still think I’ll get a summer cold---I’m open to looking at my motives
KC: Even though I’ll probably get sick---I’m open to being wrong
KC: Even though I don’t like it when I’m sick I admit it’s nice to isolate from the world---I acknowledge this and am open to changing this

EB: I bet I get sick
SE: That’s just my luck
UE: I always get sick
UN: I like being alone when I’m sick
CH: It’s self-care time
CB: I get to do what I want
UA: And sleep
TH: It’s the only time I’m allowed to pamper myself

EB: I guess there are benefits to being sick
SE: But who wants to be sick
UE: How crazy is that
UN: The only time I pamper myself is when I’m sick
CH: That’s not taking very good care of myself
CB: I need to rethink this
UA: But, I get sick every summer
TH: I always have

EB: No one to answer to
SE: But it is getting annoying
UE: I’d much rather learn to take care of myself instead of getting sick to do it
UN: It’s limiting
CH: It’s lonely really
CB :I think I need to change this
UA: Giving my body permission to not get sick this summer
TH: Giving myself permission to take care of myself without getting sick

KC: Even though I have this belief that it’s only a matter of time until I get that dreaded summer cold---I acknowledge this and am open to changing this belief
KC: Even though I expect that at any moment I’ll start getting symptoms of a summer cold---I accept myself
KC: Even though I might get a summer cold---I’m open to not getting it this summer

EB: I expect to get sick
SE: I get sick every summer
UE: Everyone around me gets a summer cold
UN: I’m in and out of air conditioning all day long
CH: I expect I’ll get sick
CB: And others will infect me
UA: Then others will get sick from me
TH: It always happens this way

EB: That’s why they market stuff for summer colds
SE: I admit I rather like the excuse to take the day off when I’m sick
UE: People expect you to get “the summer cold”
UN: I don’t like to be the exception
CH: I like fitting in
CB: Then I have something to complain about
UA: Everyone complains about the summer cold
TH: We talk about who has the worst summer cold

EB: You get to take at least one sick day
SE: You get to pamper yourself
UE: But it is annoying
UN: That runny nose
CH: The congestion
CB: It really is annoying
UA: Who needs a day off that way
TH: That’s crazy

Yep, the summer is almost over and the weight is still not off.  Let’s borrow benefits and tap some charge off.

KC: Even though that voice is quitter it’s still there---annoying me
KC: Even though that annoying voice is irritating me and then I want to eat---I acknowledge this and will tap first
KC: Even though it feels hopeless maybe it isn’t

EB: I just want it to stop
SE: Food is comforting
UE: Maybe other things can comfort me
UN: Tapping feels comforting on some level
CH: Eating fills the emptiness
CB: Maybe reading could do that
UA: I never think of what else I might do instead of eating
TH: Maybe I can make a list of things to do instead of eating

EB: I can first acknowledge that I want to eat
SE: No one ever HEARD me as a child
UE: I acknowledge this craving
UN: Thank you body for sharing with me that you need comforting
CH: I acknowledge that you don’t feel safe on some level
CB: I won’t beat you up with food
UA: What else could we do to feel comfortable and safe
TH: What could WE do

EB: What would satisfy you instead of food
SE: Or what might feel good instead of eating
UE: Could we call someone
UN: Could we read something
CH: Listen to something
CB: I’m here to help
UA: I won’t beat you up with food
TH: I’m here and I acknowledge and honor how you feel body

CB: I acknowledge and honor us and our willingness to interrupt the food-fest
