Dealing with buzz-kill situations
Let’s borrow benefits and tap in some new identities over the next few days

KC: Even though life happens---I choose to take control

EB: Look at all this traffic
SE: I’ll be stuck here for 2 hours
UE: Are you kidding me---look at that line
UN: A flat tire
CH: My computer keeps crashing
CB: Oh---will the rain ever stop
UA: Those noisy neighbors
TH: I sprained my ankle and can’t walk

EB: Yep, life shows up
SE: I can finger tap on the feelings in line
UE: I can put on jazzy music and sit-dance in my car

CH: Maybe the computer crashed cause I’m meant to take a break and wasn’t realizing how tired my body was
CB: Yep, life shows up

EB: Like a manipulating two year old they just want what they want---to destroy my happiness

Magnetizing the new template

KC: Even though I’m not sure how this works---I am committed and intend to claim the new me
KC: Even though I’m not sure how all this is going to work out---I acknowledge the past  no longer works for me
KC: Even though I’m not sure about all this---what the heck the old way only kept me in misery

EB: What I focus on grows
SE: What I focus on increases
UE: That’s like magnetizing goodness to come to me
UN: Heck, I can tap on that
CH: Allowing myself to imagine being happy
CB: What if my childhood HAD been happy
UA: I’d be happy now
TH: I allow the pain to float away and view the past as an old movie I used to like

EB: Now I like the exciting adventure stories
SE: Where ME the hero of my dreams
UE: Beams, Shines and flows with ease, joy and happiness
UN: What if my childhood was full of joy
CH: I allow myself to remember the good points before the buzz kill
CB: Remember how good that ice cream cone tasted before she called you FAT
UA: Yummy---I can taste that chocolate and choose to ignore the hurtful comment from a sick person

UN: Not like when I was a kid and had the “happy smacked out”

KC: Even though I’m really, really used to telling my victim story---I’m open to changing that
KC: Even though I’m scared to let go of my victim story---I do like mysteries and look forward to unraveling the mystery of who I’ll be without my old story
KC: Even though I’m afraid I can’t do this---I acknowledge my fear and am open to letting go and discovering the new me

EB: I’m scared
SE: People will react differently to me
UE: I might lose some people in my life
UN: What would it be like to not have an emotional attachment to my story
CH: How freeing would that be
CB: The facts are the same but no charge
UA: I’d be the ultimate winner
TH: Free

EB: Happy
SE: Joyous
UE: I choose a happy, joyous, free-spirited identity
UN: I can start with emotions I want to feel
CH: Then the rest will change gradually
CB: Oh, to wake up each day in joy
UA: To not be consumed with old stories and resentments
TH: THEY are welcome to that hell

EB: I want my new identity to be abundant
SE: To have people in my life who will be upbeat and happy
UE: Who focus on the positive things in the world
UN: Who like to lift people up
CH: I can be that person
CB: I don’t have to listen to gossip
UA: I could read instead
TH: I can be that happy, joyous and free-spirited person

Releasing the Story

KC: Even though I had all these horrible childhood experiences---I’m ready to let them go
KC: Even though I would love for someone to know how badly I hurt---I see the futility in that---we all have our stories of pain
KC: Even though I’d love to see THEM suffer and have some justice--I see that it’s an excuse for me not to be responsible for my life now---and that shame is worse than holding onto the old pain and story

EB: All this remaining pain
SE: All these remaining memories
UE: All these remaining messages
UN: I feel like I’m drowning
CH: Feel, Tap, Release
CB: I’m safe now
UA: I’m still safe
TH: That was then

EB: They were and are sick people
SE: It was a painful time
UE: I never should have been hurt that way
UN: It never should have happened to me
CH: I deserved to be loved
CB: I don’t know who I’ll be if I let go of the story
UA: I won’t know how to relate to people
TH: I’ll lose friends

EB: People know me as the victim
SE: What will they think
UE: It’s too scary
UN: I can’t do it
CH: What if I could
CB: What if I could let go
UA: What if I could imagine it differently
TH: It’s not the event---it’s the reaction

Issue: physical and sexual abuse
Let’s borrow benefits and tap some charge off some negative childhood experiences over the next few days---just bring up your issues and let’s put a dent in them especially with being the holiday
season---oh, those issues do come up

KC: Even though I was horribly abused as a child---I choose to see that I no longer have to remain a victim to my story
KC: Even though I have horrible flash backs---I choose to see I can start to let it go
KC: Even though I’m resentful over all the physical abuse I suffered---I choose to see that they
were sicker than I feel now---and I choose to reclaim my sanity NOW

EB: They beat me
SE: They abused me
UE: They took my sexual innocence 
UN: They scared me
CH: They terrified me
CB: They….
UA: And you want me to let it go
TH: ARE YOU CRAZY

EB: You don’t understand
SE: I have nightmares
UE: I flinch at every sound
UN: I’m drowning in emotions
CH: I never feel safe
CB: Feel, Tap, Release
UA: Yes, they were sick
TH: They were and finally I can acknowledge it and not have to wallow and replay my story

EB: I am a survivor
SE: I reclaim my birthright ----happiness
UE: I reclaim my soul each time I feel, tap, and release
UN: I don’t have to be saved
CH: I don’t have to make them pay
CB: I don’t have to hold onto the story
UA: I’m ready for a new template
TH: I’m ready

CB: I’m ready for a new me to emerge from the ashes

KC: Even though I felt like a looser growing up --- I’m open to changing that
KC: Even though everyone treated me like I was a looser---I acknowledge my feelings and accept myself anyway
KC: Even though I still feel like a looser --- I’m open to changing this

EB: Never picked in games
SE: Never wearing the latest styles
UE: No money for hair cuts
UN: Scuffed shoes
CH: Skinned knees
CB: The other kids made fun of me
UA: I was the looser
TH: I still feel like the looser

EB: Kids saying mean things to me
SE: Yep, the bullies loved me that’s for sure
UE: Timid
UN: Meek
CH: Mild
CB: Quiet
UA: Misunderstood
TH: Geekie

EB: Shy
SE: All interpreted by me as “I’m a looser”
UE: All the pain
UN: All the hurt
CH: Feeling it
CB: Tapping and releasing
UA: Allowing myself to know I am empathic and loving and giving
TH: Knowing now is my time to let it go

CB: I no longer have to take on the pain of others, I no longer have to feel ashamed of how I’m dressed, I no longer have to feel like a looser----I allow all that pain to melt away---feel, tap, release---letting go---allowing myself to shine

KC: Even though I was told as a child I wasn’t any good with money---I’m open to shifting that now
KC: Even though I wasn’t any good with money managing as a child---I’m open to shifting that now
KC: Even though I was irresponsible with money as a child---I acknowledge this and am open to changing this

EB: I couldn’t seem to save a penny
SE: I’d rather go to the movies than save my money
UE: I’d rather buy gifts with my money
UN: No one showed me how to save
CH: Well, they tried but then kept taking my money
CB: I learned not to save it
UA: I made some bad purchases
TH: I like treating my friends to ice cream

EB: I’m older now
SE: I understand about money now
UE: I got conflicting messages around money
UN: Save it
CH: Get fined
CB: Buy gifts
UA: I didn’t understand
TH: It’s time to unplug from all the confusion and guilt around money from childhood

EB: My parents weren’t the most enlightened around money
SE: They always struggled with money
UE: No wonder I’m confused
UN: I took on their struggle
CH: One parent horded money and never shared
CB: The other spent it like crazy
UA: No wonder I was confused
TH: It’s time to release and let go of that thinking and see money as energy

CB: I’m ready to disconnect from my childhood confusion and form a healthy connection with money---with clarity and freedom to know when and where to spend money---cause that’s what a good money manager does---and that’s me

KC: Even though I was told I was unlovable as a child I choose to love myself now
KC: Even though my parents didn’t love me I acknowledge this and choose to see the reality now
KC: Even though my parents were too dysfunctional to love me I choose to accept that and love myself

EB: They loved my siblings
SE: Dysfunctional parents often do that
UE: Pick a child to be the black sheep
UN: I wasn’t loved
CH: Never
CB: I never felt safe
UA: It wasn’t safe
TH: They hated me

EB: They said they hated me
SE: I was a mistake
UE: It was all my fault
UN: WHAT was my fault
CH: Confusion
CB: Yelling
UA: Screaming
TH: Hiding

EB: Clearly I was a horrible child
SE: They loved my siblings
UE: WHY me
UN: I must be dreadful
CH: Maybe they just weren’t ready to be loved 
CB: That’s what I brought with me---LOVE
UA: My siblings were selfish
TH: I was the one who wanted to love them

Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth- ahhhh

CB: I’m so sorry precious one---you brought the gift of love and they were hurting too much to feel their pain and how unlovable they felt
