Sometimes we just need to give ourselves permission to accept and love ourselves warts and all.  Let’s borrow benefits and tap some charge off and some love in Pt 9

KC: Even though I thought I could never love myself---I choose to let it be easy
KC: Even though it may not be a glacial ride---it will be fun
KC: Even though it may be bumpy---I can do it knowing I am safe


EB: There are always do-overs
SE: I can create some safe times and spaces for myself
UE: That is a great beginning
UN: I can always center and breathe
CH: I can learn to laugh at myself more
CB: To give myself permission not to feel guilty
UA: When others reach out in their limitations
TH: I can let my uncomfortable feelings come up


EB: And energetically acknowledge them
SE: Blow them up
UE: Tap them out
UN: Or, just see it as a learning lesson
CH: That I don’t have to take care of everyone
CB: I don’t have to break my word to myself
UA: I can put myself first

KC: Even though it still doesn’t feel safe to love myself---I honor and acknowledge all my feelings
KC: Even though it still doesn’t feel safe---I can still love myself and be gentle with myself
KC: Even though it still doesn’t feel safe—I honor and acknowledge the fear


EB: Thank you fear
SE: Thank you
UE: I don’t feel safe
UN: Yet, I am
CH: Right now I am safe
CB: In this second I am still safe
UA: And in this second I’m still safe
TH: Sitting here I am safe


EB: Even as the phone rings and it’s from one of the people who makes me wrong
SE: Right this second---I’m safe and don’t have to answer it
UE: I can provide a safe space for myself
UN: To answer and return the call when I feel safer
CH: Oh, not answering the phone is an energetic boundary
CB: One to help me feel safe
UA: I don’t have to feel guilty about it
TH: If they always drain my energy


EB: I don’t have to let them
SE: I can talk with them when the time is right for me
UE: I choose to know I am safe
UN: I’m still safe
CH: In fact it’s okay to provide a safe space for myself
CB: To allocate certain time for certain projects
UA: To turn off the phone and focus on my tasks
TH: To let it be okay to not be available 24/7

KC: Even though I still have some remaining doubts I choose to let more go
KC: Even though I still have doubts about my success rate I choose to see it as an opportunity to return more crazy limitation to where it came from
KC: Even though I still may slip---I choose to embrace all of me


EB: I accept all of myself
SE: I choose to accept all of myself
UE: I choose to love myself
UN: I’m not sure what that looks like
CH: That thought is just a limitation
CB: It’s not a LOOK
UA: It’s a feeling
TH: And it will feel safe


EB: I choose to let go of more remaining doubts and fears
SE: I choose to move more into relaxation
UE: Into a knowing that I am worthy of feeling safe
UN: I never was safe growing up
CH: This time I’m parenting myself
CB: This time I’m safe
UA: I no longer have to punish myself
TH: I no longer have to make myself wrong


EB: I choose to let the fear go
SE: I love and accept all of me
UE: Warts and all
UN: I choose to acknowledge my limiting thoughts and feelings
CH: To tap them out
CB: To return to embracing and loving myself
UA: I am safe
TH: I am safe

KC: Even though growing up and letting go of old patterns and believes is difficult---I choose to not take the easy way out
KC: Even though I may want to give up---I choose to see that my life doesn’t have to change in dramatic ways---it’s just about being gentle with myself and letting others limitations slip away---they just can’t help it
KC: Even though my life might change in big ways----I choose to not let that scare me


EB: All the unknown---it scares me
SE: What will my life look like
UE: What if I don’t like how it ends up looking
UN: What if everyone leaves me
CH: Oh, those are just fears designed to keep me small
CB: “what if’s” are just fears to keep me small
UA: Oh you silly “what if’s”
TH: Maybe our life will look just the same


EB: Only we will feel lighter
SE: We’ll enjoy others more
UE: We’ll see their limitations and games
UN: Then we can just “see” them and choose to not play along
CH: I’m sorry I just can’t play with you today
CB: It is empowering
UA: We’ll have choices
TH: The choice to stay in our serenity and state of calm


EB: I choose to keep letting go of more fears
SE: I choose to notice them and lovingly say
UE: Thanks for sharing and I’m sorry I choose not to play
UN: Please complete your journey and retire
CH: Job well done
CB: Now we are ready for an adult adventure
UA: To an expansive us
TH: If you are too afraid I’ll send you a postcard

KC: Even though I may pitch a temper tantrum or two---I choose to love that part of me as well
KC: Even though it will be frustrating at time---I choose to hold my course as best I can
KC: Even though I’ll feel like giving up from time-to-time---I choose to embrace all of me and my frustration


EB: HECK NO
SE: I can’t do it
UE: I refuse
UN: You can’t make me
CH: It’s too hard
CB: I’m scared
UA: They were right
TH: I’m a looser


EB: What was I thinking
SE: What---I accept I was programmed by the best
UE: WOW---those tapes are running on automatic
UN: Good thing tapping changes the groves
CH: I choose to embrace the old groves
CB: They will help me see that I’m getting close to letting them go
UA: I give them permission to retire
TH: To transmute into kinder and gentler messages


EB: To complete their journey
SE: Because they are never going to figure it out
UE: They can stop and retire
UN: Their job was to keep me small
CH: They succeeded for decades
CB: It’s okay to retire old programs
UA: I give you permission to complete your journey
TH: To transmute with me into love, light and infinite possibilities

KC: Even though there will appear to be EXPERTS in HOW TO LOVE YOURSELF---I choose to trust my knowing
KC: Even though there are some people who have clarity in some areas---I choose to clean house in all areas
KC: Even though I may even appear to have clarity in one area---I choose to not beat myself up when I discover a limitation about myself


EB: I don’t want to push it under the rug
SE: Just because it’s difficult and elusive
UE: Some experts redirect everyone attention to the areas where they are proficient
UN: Not me---I want to see all my warts
CH: To accept them and ask them what they want to show me
CB: So I can help them heal
UA: I want to expand in all areas of my life
TH: That’s love


EB: That’s unconditional
SE: I can learn bits and pieces from this person and that person
UE: I trust my knowing that for me there may be several ways to expand into more of me
UN: If someone tries to force limitation on me
CH: I give myself permission to run the other way
CB: Return that energy to them
UA: I choose to follow my knowing
TH: To accept myself and lovingly laugh at myself


EB: How cute and precious I am
SE: How ingenious I am at advoiding what I need to do
UE: It really is darling
UN: When I don’t make myself wrong
CH: I grow and expand
CB: That’s what I desire
UA: I choose to expand into love
TH: I choose gentleness

KC: Even though I may slip a lot---I forgive myself in advance---babies fall down a lot in the beginning
KC: Even though I intellectually “GET IT” I acknowledge the part of me that is still invested into believing their opinions of me
KC: Even though a part of me still buys their point of view---a larger part of me doesn’t and I choose for that part of me to win


EB: I get embarrassed when I make mistakes
SE: This will be hard
UE: Having compassion for myself when I make a mistake
UN: I know they will throw it in my face
CH: The trick will be to NOT throw it in my own face
CB: To chuckle and say “I fell down---oops---time to get back up”
UA: Thanks for pointing out my slip/mistake to me
TH: I appreciate it---darn I had a “senior” moment


EB: Gosh, I hate making mistakes
SE: Yet this terrain is unknown to me
UE: The past is very known
UN: Well-worn paths
CH: I give myself permission to laugh like a child would at my slips, falls, and mistakes
CB: Compassion for the new little me
UA: I am committed to gently picking her back up
TH: Dusting her off through energy work


EB: And stepping up and out again
SE: I am committed to loving myself
UE: It really is the undiscovered country
UN: Very few people make it there
CH: I choose to be one of them
CB: I choose the soul-train
UA: The destination is expansive joy
TH: Joy even when you stumble

KC: Even though I don’t have instructions on how to love myself---I acknowledge it’s scary and I choose to forge ahead
KC: Even though there is no guarantee I’ll win in the way society defines success---I choose to define what loving myself looks like
KC: Even though society will do it’s best to stop me---not to mention what my friends and family will do---I choose to keep loving myself


EB: They won’t make it easy
SE: I don’t have to be rude
UE: Just say “I understand it does look like I don’t love you anymore”
UN: “I can see how you would think I’m selfish”
CH:  “I totally see how it seems like I don’t care”
CB: I can practice what I’m going to say
UA: Not rudely
TH: With compassion


EB: They just are stuck
SE: Look how long I was stuck
UE: Look at how I slip
UN: They’ll slip too and not respect my boundaries
CH: It’s okay
CB: It’s just where we all are
UA: I give myself permission to just let their opinions of me go
TH: So what---who cares---that’s not love


EB: Limitation is not love
SE: I also don’t have to punish myself for breaking free
UE: That’s the hard part
UN: I’m used to their hurting me
CH: It’s an old pattern I’m ready to shed
CB: I give myself permission not to hurt myself
UA: When I notice the behavior
TH: I promise to lovingly NOT scold myself---to let myself feel the feelings and relax

KC: Even though I don’t want to hurt anyone---it’s time to toss people off my shoulders---they are capable of taking care of themselves
KC: Even though I want to love myself I feel guilty for putting myself first

EB: I’m sorry I can’t live for you
SE: I can’t be what YOU want me to be
UE: I can’t live your dream
UN: I might fail
CH: I might
CB: I might not make it in this lifetime
UA: Or, it might look like for a time that you are right
TH: I may appear to be a looser from YOUR point of view

EB: From my point of view
SE: I’m finally putting myself first
UE: Crawling along
UN: Without your help
CH: I may be tempted to give up
CB: I know I will keep returning to letting YOUR voices and points of view go
UA: It’s time to let you go
TH: To let your judgments go

EB: To listen to me
SE: To carry JUST MY OWN WEIGHT and THOUGHTS
UE: Ah, that feels lighter already
UN: I must return your guilt to you
CH: I’m sorry I ever took it on to begin with
CB: I’m sorry
UA: I have to let you ALL go in order to find me
TH: A snail’s pace and enjoying the view as I go
