UN: Salads don’t fill you up like chocolate
CH: It’s not comforting like chocolate
CB: I feel deprived when I eat right
UA: It’s not fair
TH: I can never have what I want
EB: I’m an adult
SE: I can eat what I want
UE: Mother told me I was weak
UN: That I had no will power
CH: Sure enough I’m proving her right
CB: I like to please mommy
UA: Mommy is always right
TH: Mommy’s happy when she’s right
EB: I want to make mommy happy
SE: Oh my goodness
UE: I’m overeating to make her right
UN: Feel, tap, release
CH: I want to do what make me happy
CB: Not be a victim to old programing
UA: Allowing myself to unplug from the paradigm
TH: Checking in with my body to see if I want the chocolate after all
Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth- ahhhh
CB: I may not want it now for a while---it might just be an old crossed wire from when I was a kid
When the limiting thoughts come back tap on the UE and say or think: “I give myself space to see what my body wants to eat---I allow myself to bring more awareness to my eating”
