KC: Even though I eat so fast I barely taste my food---I’m open to shifting this
KC: Even though I swallow my food almost whole----I’m open to changing this
KC: Even though I’m usually multitasking when I eat and thus eat too much---I honor and acknowledge it all and choose to start changing this
EB: I taste the first bite and then
SE: Gulp
UE: I barely chew my food
UN: Notice the flavor---not so much
CH: That’s why I eat so much---well, one of the reasons
CB: I heard most of the digestive process takes place in the mouth
UA: So if I don’t chew my food I don’t get the nutritional benefits
TH: No wonder I’m starving all the time
EB: What would it be like to savor every bite
SE: Are you crazy I don’t have time to concentrate on what I’m eating
UE: I have to multitask
UN: But, if I did maybe I would notice when I’m full
CH: And my body would get the nutrition it needs
CB: Hummmm, I didn’t realize how my body processed food
UA: Plus, I’d be in gratitude for the flavors
TH: And, for honoring myself and my body
EB: I like that---since I do gratitude lists everyday
SE: Plus, I’d start learning how my body feels more
UE: Like when it’s full
UN: Oh, I’d have more energy
CH: I’d be healthier
CB: I’d be in gratitude
UA: Eating with awareness
TH: Slowing down and enjoying for 10-15 minutes
Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth- ahhhh
CB: I can do that---even if I have to set a time---I’m worth it
When the limiting thoughts come back tap on the UE and say or think: “I am committed to a happy, healthy and fit body and vibrantly alive taste buds---NOW”
